Uh... your snarky isn’t working today. You totally blew past the point that ‘who knows what evil?” was making.

He was implying that if, yes IF, this scenario applied to the Presidential election, Clinton never would have been elected. We all know all about the Electoral College. Thank you for playing.

My point was that we weren't dealing with one single national election, but we were dealing with 49 separate state elections. And even with runoffs in each of those 49 states, Clinton would have won. Perot votes would have split more towards the challenger than the incumbent.

As much as I loathe Clinton, GHWBush deserved to lose. He was the anti-Reagan. And no runoff would have turned his 37% share of the vote into a 50% +1 share.
