Exactly! I use it and it brings them to a DEAD STOP. Upon further questioning, not only are they unable to give the correct temperature, they can't say whether this current temperature is too high or too low. So they end up admitting that if we could change the climate (which we can't), we might actually be making things worse!! Fun with pseudo-science...

My favorite question is.....
Since you believe that we are killing the planet and are a good steward of planet earth, what’s it like to live without electricity, hot water, a/c, auto and cell phone

You could always ask them what the “m” stands for in ppm. So, if you have something that is comprised of a “m”illion parts, how significant are 399 of them and what percentage is that of the “m”illion parts? Or, where did the C(uh)02 reside before it was released in to the atmosphere? Is there really “more” or is it just in a different form now. Sadly, they really don’t care because they “doing something”. :>}

I use a slight corollary of this… According to all kinds of data including IPCC data, it has been shown that there has been no warming for almost 20 years but regardless, I don’t raise that card right away. My usual response to someone raising the prospect that the planet is warming is “how do you actually know that and can you provide an uncertainty analysis for that conclusion?”
