So, to make a long story short, Bergdahl was an Islamist sympathizer joining the US army to learn about its tactics and strategies in order to later help the Jihadis with the information he gathered?
If so, Why wasn’t he sniffed out in the beginning?
You have to be looking for something to find it, in most cases. Have you seen who the president is these days? He can recite the call to prayer better than most imams.

I don’t think it’s going to turn out to be that simple. I think that Michael Hastings was on to something when he profiled Bergdahl for Rolling Stone. Hastings was killed for what he knew that never made it into print. The FBI was all over him and his source for that article. You should look into it. I think this story is like an onion, layer after layer......don’t just believe the MSM “big argument” between the GOP and the Dems on this...all a smokescreen...
