There appears to be one uniformed woman wearing a pistol on her left leg to the secretary’s right. Behind him is somebody wearing something I don’t recognize, a civilian contractor? He has an assault weapon. Have they changed the rules and are now allowing military personnel to carry weapons on base?
That’s Afghanistan, not Texas.
Assault weapon guy is a member of a Personal Security Detail. Most likely a contractor. That’s their uniform.
