I subscribed to Bennet's emails just to see what he was doing. I can't say I disagree with the idea, but he's probably snuck something in there somewhere...

I won’t hold my breath waiting for the conductors of the gravy train to blow it up.

Ban members of Congress from becoming lobbyists

The way to do it, I'd think, would be to make never becoming a lobbyist a condition for receiving a government pension. Otherwise wouldn't there be a legality problem?

It is a ploy to get votes. Didn’t Obama promise to not have any lobbyists and then reneged? Same thing here.

I might even reply to Bennet’s email with Obamas promise and list the ex-lobbyist that are working for him.

Ban all lobbyist period.

Ban all donations to all political candidates. Each candidate should get an equal amount of funding from their state. No other contributions should be allowed.. best man wins best on his abilities and message... not by how much funding they have. Candidates can only promote their own ideas and the first negative attack ad and their barred from any political future.

Ban all lawyers, we need people with common sense.

All terms are for 2 - 4 years period. No retirement unless they continue in a civil service position for a total of 20 years.

Congress should be in session twice a year for two weeks each and they get paid for that two service ONLY. Any other sessions should be for war time or national crisis only.

No voter ID card no voting.

You must be able to pass a basic knowledge test on government and how it works or no voter ID card.
