Pump and recoil operated 12 gauge shotguns have held up to 8 rounds since before WW2, and after as many as 10. By Vietnam, some new types were designed for more than 10 and today you can get several that hold 20 12ga rounds in an easily swapped drum. If drum or stick mag isn’t your thing, there are pump guns that can hold 16-20 rounds in their tube magazines.

“The gunman suspected of killing one and wounding several others during an afternoon rampage on the campus of Seattle Pacific University was booked into King County jail Thursday night, the Seattle Police Department said in a late Twitter feed, identifying the man as 26-year-old Aaron R. Ybarra.”

In our area, the YBarra’s are Hispanic. The ones we have met over the years have been good people and hard working people.

No, that one is Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California but they are both evangelical Christian unis. Both belong to cccu.org.

"Amazing friend, good worker"

After Columbine, they never seem to be able to find that second shooter:

The afternoon shooting came a week before the end of the school year, and the situation was particularly tense when police initially reported that they were searching for a second suspect.

“It appears the suspect acted alone,” McDonagh said. Initially, “there was a report of another person with a weapon, but (investigators) have not confirmed that.”

You may have shot an over and over shot gun or a side by side shot gun. Both of which only hold 2 shells.

Pump shotguns can hold from 5 to 10 shells or more.

Here are a couple of links to two of the more common pump shotguns:

Thanks for the info. I think maybe what I was shooting was a double-barrel (2 shells side by side). I don’t know anything about shotguns - -know a little bit more about handguns. I’ve been thinking about getting a gun for protection (something like a 32 police woman’s special - shot one long ago and it didn’t have much kickback and fit in my hand well). I’ve shot automatics, but they scare me a little (I know women shoot them, but they seem more like a “guys gun” to me ;-)

The guns you describe fit with the witnesses saying they saw 10-20 shotgun shells on the floor.

I think I shot a side by side (2 shells side by side).

Thank you for all the info - I’ll look at it over the weekend.

Best,
SC

At least six people shot at Seattle Pacific University. - At least one suspect in custody. Police initially said two. - School is about 10 min. from downtown Seattle with about 4,000 students. - This is the first Seattle school shooting since April 2007.

How can that be? I refuse to believe this! After all, I am sure that SPU had "No Guns Allowed" signs posted all over the university buildings and grounds. It's inconceivable! How could a deranged killer or criminal bring a gun on campus in violation of the school rules? sarc/

ps. To loony lib retards..... criminals don't care about your silly ass signs. The only thing that will stop a loony left-wing killer demoCRAP with a gun is a law-abiding citizen with his or her own gun.

I think he was saying that there is a good chance that the shooter is a Mooselimb. Just trying to further your education.

“An ASSAULT handgun at that, capable of firing 2,000 rounds per second.”

You do yourself no service by posting such absurdities!

I may be wrong, but I assume that EEE was making wild extreme claims, as a sarcasm & parody of the wild, ludicrous & unsubstantiated claims made by liberals & the media & demoCRAP politicians (0dumb0), within a few minutes of any gun shooting incident. Every gun to a liberal is an assult rifle or assult handgun

’ Liberals are not only naïve but generally selfish.’
My oldest sister and I have been having a running battle conducted by phone since before the Big Zero’s election my advise, actually my order, was not to vote for him.
With Common Core finally in full effect, she has somewhat changed her tune, she is a teacher.
Last weekend she and I were discussing it and I said it is designed to set up the kids for failure at an early age and getting them used to the idea that they can never succeed in the future. Her response was yes, that is true but it is also causing the teachers to fail.
Her major concern was not the kids but her own interests, her own job. I saw during our ongoing battle that her ox had not been gored, now that it has she is changing her tune, but it is still all about her.
The old saying ‘A liberal is a conservative who hasn’t been mugged yet.’ comes to mind. She just got mugged, but is still self centered, that comes from living in a liberal bubble. I know because she was not raised this way.

’ said there is a prayer service in the church (Methodist) on campus at 7 tonight.’
Look up the United Methodist Church news stories over the last several years, I am not sure this prayer service will be going to the recipient that you might think it should.

Great graphic, but would be better if written:

“If heroes with REAL GUNS don’t arrive soon, kiss your effeminate defenseless butt good-bye!”

If you know the person who made the graphic, plz pass this suggestion on to them.
