Anything outside of the classroom is an inappropriate relationship. He should have used something tougher than a baseball bat.

You wanna know what really frosts my family jewels? An old school buddy of mine is now the commander of a state police barracks up there. And if my memory of him serves, he’d show very little humor on this subject.
Of course, they are not telling us what is in the text messages, but I am assuming that they could not press charges because the teacher had not proposed a sexual relationship. I am guessing that something like “I love you” or “I want to be with you” would not rise to the level of prosecution, while I am betting that this relationship would have escalated over time.

Yes, this gal is so glad she grew up with 3 older brothers and a father who would have knocked some sense into this guy.

Perhaps he was there to plead with him not to make him lose his job. Or maybe he was there to ask for her hand — or worse.
What makes this act exceptional is that there was actually a dad around and that he was willing to step up and do his job.
