“It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” Hebrews 10:31
I presume this woman has had an abortion in real life. Her only hope --- and ours --- is that the pain grows, and grows, and grows, until it bursts through her heart of stone. That God replaces her heart of stone with a heart of flesh, and she receives the gift of cleansing tears.
She's human. after all --- though she tries to suppress it. And any human mother --- heck, any mammal with a glimmer of self-awareness --- has a strong instinct of protective tenderness toward her own young.
Miss Marmelstein, ma'am, if that asteroid's coming, I hope it comes right down my chimney. But I have to hold out hope for repentance and mercy. The Living God is just--- but Mercy is His other name.
