Since most credible genealogies done on Obama have so little known about the matriarchal lineages, it is reasonable to assume this is exactly what happened.

On August 25, 2008, the Democrat Candidate was at a conference and was asked a question. His response was, “I’m 51 years old now and started working when I was 15...”. Not a problem except that would have made his birth year 1957.

It was good enough for providing his cover as an Indonesian.
I can guess at why we paid for his cover and education. Pakistan was pursuing a nuclear weapons program, and Barry Soetoro’s target was a Pakistani student attending Occidental.
