Talk about a whopper of a lie.
A teenager in Norwich, in eastern England, called 999, the British version of 911, and claimed a bomb was set to go off at a nearby shopping centre.
According to the Daily Mail, 18-year-old Luke Brown admitted to making the threat and told police that his brother wanted him to call police and "make something up" so he could leave his job at Burger King and go home early.
Police arrested Brown on the spot at the phone box on March 6.
In court Friday, the defense claimed Brown suffers from ADHD and had been a "stupid boy."
The judge, who sentenced Brown to six months in a young offenders' institution called the prank "unsophisticated."
Luke Brown
Toronto... Thank god.
Not Florida for once
Well what the hell it’s England so at most he might get thirty days even if he plead guilty.
If he only had red hair he would be a daywalker. The freckles prove he suffers from gingervitis.
Isn’t “eighteen years old”considered an adult?
Why send him to a Young Offenders Institution?
HA!! Good one!
