Police said no charges have been fired because no crime was committed.
Good, criminalizing words is a disgusting overreach of government.

Wilton Manors. You think he would know not to use slurs.

Wilton Manors is a strange place.
Basically the gay capital of South Florida. I’ve done a lot of work related stuff down there over the years, and it’s always been weird.

I don’t know, but I’ve heard the ‘n’ word used a lot more the last, oh say, 5 or 6 years now.

Is it illegal to utter a word now?

"I never got called that word before," Layota Pinkney said.
It's odd Layota would say something like this. According to the media the United States never got out of the 1950's Selma, Alabama racial hatred phase. Maybe she meant the clansmen who burned her church down for the third time never got around to calling her that word before because they were too busy lynching other people.

Come to think of it. I’ve heard a lot more people using the term ‘commie-bastard’ lately, too.

And then, there’s been an outbreak of the utterance left-wing doosh.
This has all seemed to have happened in the last 5 -6 years.
I wonder what is going on.

Ah, more brilliant writing. My two personal favorites:
...saying she was upset about the slut....
...he slammed on his breaks....

Never hear that before about 5 or 6 years ago.

You know you got to pay the price. Donald Sterling just paid the price for what his situation was. LOL! Donald Sterling is cashing a $2 billion check.

Is this commissioner an elected official, or public official of some kind?
If so, is he now going to be asked to resign?
Will protests go up to force him out of public life?
Will Sharpton and Jackson and others bring their mock outrage campaign to his town?
Will someone such as Spike Lee put his address on Twitter, so the world knows where he lives, so as to promote harrassment of him??
To: nickcarraway
Whoever wrote and proofread this should be fired.
“Slammed on his breaks.” BREAKS? Among other things - slut for slur....where do they get the people that write this stuff anymore?

Yes there is! He was mad, lost his temper, and used bad language. (First amendment protected language).
It’s a WORD, nothing more. I can think of many, more vulgar words, he could have called her. When people get angry and scared bad language “happens”. Nobody is proud of it later, but it is no big deal and for now, doesn’t warrant an arrest.
