Pollster1, I think you may have missed a key point: it IS obviously pro-homosexual because it is a part of a campaign they launched to promote homosexuality. Here is the actual advertisement I saw last year that just brought my use of their products to an immediate and full stop:

General Mills has risen imo due to them going with non-gmo grains but they just lost this customer. Not that I buy cereal but if one day I did I would leave GM on the shelf.

Nowhere in their diversity statement do they say “religion”

It’s race, sexual orientation and gender. I am not kidding.

Diversity statement: We cultivate an inclusive environment by considering all dimensions of diversity – not just the primary areas such as gender, race and sexual orientation – but also cultural aspects including values, preferences, beliefs and communication styles.

So, not just gender, race, and sexual orientation.

What kind of beliefs? Belief in UFO’s? Tooth Fairies? My Little Pony?

I don’t know how you derive anything about religion out of that phrase.

What does children’s cereal have to do with gay sex?

How very sad!

When someone asks me about my beliefs, I share the good news of Jesus Christ.

When someone asks you about your beliefs, apparently you talk about UFOs and Little Pony.

Simple marketing. There are more gays than anti-gay Christians.
