Why? Because thats my opinion like it or not. So then, in your opinion, for what other crimes should the child of the criminal be put to death?
I'm curious because putting a child to death for his or her parents crimes seems especially barbaric and draconian.

So then, in your opinion, for what other crimes should the child of the criminal be put to death? I agree with your premise. What I have trouble with is that rape is not considered a capital offense. In the cases of prepubescent child rape, it can inflict a lifetime of emotional torture on the victim.

... putting a child to death for his or her parents crimes seems especially barbaric and draconian. Unconstitutional, even.
From Article I, Section 9 of the US Constitution: "No Bill of Attainder ... shall be passed."
