Relax. We’re on the same side. That’s not what I was saying at all.
Just pointing out that there’s a difference between being CAPTURED and having the living sh*t beat out of you day in and day out and then breaking as a result - and actively, willingly, and willfully walking away from your guard post, leaving your platoon open to slaughter as a result, and defecting to the enemy.
And this article was long before John McCain - this was about Korean War POWs.
