What we need to do is get a conservative majority!

Agreed. And I think that's what we're seeing, slowly but surely. The Conservative revolt began in 2010 under the Tea Party movement. That movement continues today, and will take time, as there are too many pockets of GOP establishment hold outs (Boner/McConnel, et al), but we see small successes as we move along.

“What would you suggest we do?

Desert the field of battle?”

Hmm, how about focus on battles you can actually win? You seem to be under the impression that you must fight a lost cause instead, for principle’s sake.

We must stay on message and persist!

Bob Casey. Why? Dem or Rep. It don’t matter. They are all cowards and NOT on any side but their own. VOTE, VOTE VOTE and you still get shit on.

Who decides which battles we can actually win?

FRankly, I am fed up with this “we can’t win, so why try” attitude.

Because of that attitude, we have damn near lost the country.

If we are not successful in holding the Ophonybama LIEberal thugocracy accountable, we WILL lose the country.

Are you in?

Or, are you out?

He’s black, therefore you are racist for even suggesting such a thing.

Truth be told, he is octoroon, not black, unless you count his 3/8 Arab as black. But the only way to offset the racism charges is to have the key actors in the impeachment effort be blacker than him.

They are afraid of riots.

They were afraid of Zimmerman verdict riots, too.

He is a LIEberal, so of course, he won’t vote to convict Ophonybama!

You have got 4 years to get rid of him. Get busy!

You know, 100 million Americans who were otherwise eligible to vote in 2012 chose not to.

They deserted the field of battle, and the LIEberals won!

When they come for you, who will be left to speak for you?

you might be missing my point.

most real Americans would probably all agree that anyone guilty of high treason does not deserve to be kept alive in ANY prison and needs to receive the ultimate penalty for their crime(s)

“When they come for you, who will be left to speak for you?”

What does this, in the context of what we’ve been discussing, even mean?!?

Obama’s out of office in two years, and nobody’s going to bother impeaching him in the meantime. I suggest you learn to deal with those facts, just like the rest of us already have.

Eric Erickson, filling in for Rush last week, said it correctly: (1) the House might impeach but the Senate will never convict, and (2) the democrats, uninspired to vote at the moment, will have their base energized by the prospect of ‘the first black president’ being impeached.

Erickson said impeachment proceedings would be a mistake for both those reasons. Not only would it not succeed, but it would bring out democrat voters for the mid-term elections.

“...because the sycophantic media would gin impeachment up as a racial issue and stir up street riots that would make Watts riots look like a park stroll.”

It’s going to happen anyway. Let’s get it over with. I would rather my children and grandchildren could get on with living in a safe and sane country, with opportunities to succeed in their chosen endeavors.

In today’s America, they cannot.

I fully agree.

Ophonybama MUST be impeached, convicted and imprisoned!

Your comment deserves repeating: “It’s going to happen anyway. Let’s get it over with. I would rather my children and grandchildren could get on with living in a safe and sane country, with opportunities to succeed in their chosen endeavors.”

I absolutely refuse to be a bystander.

My hope is that the drums of impeachment get louder and louder, and that enough people, including Democrats, come to understand that Ophonybama is tearing this country apart.

And they decide that enough is enough and impeach, convict and imprison him and his LIEberal thugs.

That is the goal.

I choose to fight for FReedom.

You certainly are FRee to stay disengaged, but what will you tell your grandchildren?

Not to waste their time trying to impeach guys like Obama if it won’t happen, but to focus on more achievable goals.
