Approximately thirty miles from my front door is a West Virginia, coal-fired power plant that was recently shut-down by the last round of Obama-imposed EPA mandates.
Now the word comes down from Washington that Obama has ordered the EPA to institute another batch of non-congressionally-approved regulations, which are certain to place other West Virginia power plants in jeopardy.
In another glaring lie mined by the administration, Obama says these decisions will help the environment.

West Virginia should eliminate every democrat in office. If they want to pretend to be conservative, they need to switch party. Otherwise, they’re the party of Obama.

Where does the GOP really stand on this issue? Is it doing anything to constrain the EPA or just spouting talking points hoping the voters won’t know they are really enabling the bureaucrats (i.e. like funding them)? After all, it was a Repubulican (Richard Nixon) who gave us the EPA.

Agree 100%! If he wasn’t an Obama-democrat, he would change parties.
They love funding Obama’s programs. They don’t really oppose anything he wants.
Manchin was just reelected in 2012 over a weak GOP candidate, his seat is not up until 2018. Even in states with recall for state offices (of which I don’t believe WV is one), members of Congress cannot be recalled, such a thing would require a constitutional amendment.
Some say he might pull a Richard Shelby and switch parties should Republicans take the Senate. If he wasn’t an ***hole he would have done so already, instead he’s gone in the other direction since becoming a Senator, embracing gun control.
This should be a watershed year fort the WV GOP. Capito will win the other Senate seat easily, good chance Rat Rep. Rahall loses, that would leave Manchin the only rat in the congressional delegation.
GOP should take the State House as well, for the first time since 1930. The State Senate is a tougher nut to crack, it’s still heavily rat and I believe only half the seats are up.
Thanks....I did not know that WV has no recall. If Joe Manchin had half a brain, he would switch parties right now from Democrat to Republican. He won’t....so he will be tainted in history for siding with our only POTUS (Obama) that was truly an enemy of the state!!! Gotta think, Manchin ain’t too bright in the smarts department!!!
