Sure, eliminating the minimum wage is in and of itself an excellent idea, but we can't count on Shannon to show up and vote for it.
During Shannon's first six years as a legislator he presented bills on the Floor of the House of Representatives 27 times. 14 of those bills were acted on without any debate or discussion. Of the remaining 13 bills, 12 had questions asked and 3 bills were debated. This means that Shannon stood on the floor of the House slightly less than 4 minutes in debate and 11 minutes answering questions over a 6 year period.

I also really take issue winking at Lankford’s endorsement from Huckabee. Yeah, I get it that Free Republic isn't especially fond of Huckabee, but Lankford has also been endorsed by a huge portion of the OK State Senate (Republican controlled), Trey Gowdy, and others.

We don't need do-nothing platitudes like “We need a strong whatever to whatever.” What we really need is someone who is going to show up and do their job. We need someone who can reasonably represent Oklahomans, and you can't do that if you never show up to vote. You can't represent Oklahomans if during the entire length of your tenured seven-year political career from the age of 28, if you never stand up and actually speak on behalf of your constituents.

This is why Huckabee endorsed Lankford. Because of his pathetic conservative record. He’ll be a go-along type.
Lankford 75% (Average) 83% (Heritage) 80% (ACU) 70% (CFG) 68% (FreedomWorks)
