Unfortunately (because as FDR said, "I hate war") it will take a little (or more than a little) ass kicking before the world believes it's been removed. And I don't mean picking around the edges with restrictive ROE as in Afghanistan which sacrifice too many troops. We should have learned that weakness and lack of resolve lead inevitably to war.
When it comes to Iran, there should be an Iranian city per day turned into radioactive glass until whoever is left crawls out of the debris to agree to anything we want without conition.
