McCain: Accusing Bergdahl Platoon Mates of 'Swift-boating' Is Unacceptable (VIDEO)

Tuesday after a Senate intelligence briefing, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) responded to criticisms being leaked out about U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl's platoon mates after having criticized him for being a "deserter."

"I have one other comment that doesn't have anything to do with the hearing and that is I understand attacking people who disagree with the president's decision," McCain said. "I do not agree with attacking the reputation of these young men who served in the same platoon with Sgt. Bergdahl. to accuse them of swift boating is unacceptable'"

The former Vietnam prisoner of war was referring to reports of unnamed White House aides accusing the soldiers who served with Bergdahl of “swift-boating” him by telling their stories in an attempt to discredit the soldiers.

Well then Johnnie, maybe you shouldn’t have called the original swift boaters dishonorable for calling your buddy Kerry out.

Well, there you have it then!

Hey Johnnie Boy, when does "unacceptable" morph into action over said circumstance?

Shut up, McCain. You condemned the Swift Boat Vets and they were telling the truth about Jenjiss John.

American Patriots Against John Kerry

The 1970 meeting that John Kerry conducted with North Vietnamese communists violated U.S. law, according to an author and researcher who has studied the issue.

Kerry met with representatives from “both delegations” of the Vietnamese in Paris in 1970, according to Kerry’s own testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on April 22, 1971. But Kerry’s meetings with the Vietnamese delegations were in direct violation of laws forbidding private citizens from negotiating with foreign powers, according to researcher and author Jerry Corsi, who began studying the anti-war movement in the early 1970s.

According to Corsi, Kerry violated U.S. code 18 U.S.C. 953. “A U.S. citizen cannot go abroad and negotiate with a foreign power,” Corsi told CNSNews.com.

By Kerry’s own admission, he met in 1970 with delegations from the North Vietnamese communist government and discussed how the Vietnam Warshould be stopped.

Maybe the headline is wrong. I would expect McCain to say “Swift-boating Bergdahl is unacceptable.”

That McCain thinks they need to be defended from accusations of swiftboating shows he still doesn’t get it. The proper response is: “the Swiftboat Veterans for Truth were telling the truth and did a great service (again) to this country. Bergdahl’s platoon mates are following in honorable footsteps and deserve to be heard with respect.”

So, when McCain says the right thing, we jump on him?
I believe the idea is to reward Republican politicians when they say the right thing and admonish them when they say the wrong thing.

You’re right Senator. Keep it up.

What's surprising about McCain giving aid and comfort to a Muslim traitor to the United States? McCain has openly contacted and conferenced with Muslim terrorists and Jihadis. McCain is a Dhimmi and a traitor. Perhaps he really is deranged or demented? I'd like to ship his puffy pink butt to Gitmo for the duration.
