Jawad Boulos, head of the legal department at the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club, said that the prisoners have threatened that all political prisoners will join together in a large-scale hunger strike if Israel does not change its position on the newly passed ‘Life without Parole’ bill.
At the end of his visit in the “Gilboa” Detention Center, Boulos said that the political prisoners, some of whom are already on a hunger strike, have said the strike would go on without limitations. ...

Every time I read about another hunger strike, I look for the Magic Hat hunger strike scene in Malcolm in the Middle, but fail to find it on You Tube.
I have never understood the concept of hunger strikes. They won’t eat, so?
That makes life without parole so much easier to implement, too.
Wait two weeks then put out a scrumptious rib platter. Leave it in front of the door.
Feed it to the guards while the inmates watch.
I say the authorities should cook the best meals ever and let the aroma waif through the cells for hours and then serve the food to the needy on the outside. Let the bastards inside starve!
The first rule of Palestinian Prisoners’ Club is that NOBODY talks about Palestinian Prisoners’ Club!
But the only needy in walking distance from the prison complex are wildlife. But still, i agree.
It worked for the IRA prisoners in the early 1980’s, but that was a very different situation. The British wanted the Irish Catholics to not support the IRA, but the hunger strikes were creating sympathy for the IRA and undermining British efforts to win “hearts and minds”.
In this situation there is absolutely NO chance for Isreal to win the “hearts and minds” of the Palestinians- and the Isreali government appears to recognize this.
These are mooselimbs, right?
If they don't eat, they die.
Where is the downside?
Personally, I could give a damn if they all starved.
Hell, invite the rest of the mooselimbs into the prison, let 'em all starve together.
