John Cornyn: America Needs To Care For 'Dumped' Children (wants them to be wards of the State)

Sen. John Cornyn criticized President Obama for creating a “human magnet” with his unlawful approach to immigration enforcement, but admitted that Americans had a duty to care for the children that were flooding into the country.

“They need to be taken care of, I mean they’ve been left, basically dumped at America’s doorstep, and we need to treat them compassionately we need to make sure they get the care they need,” Cornyn explained to reporters on Capitol Hill on Tuesday afternoon.

Cornyn pointed out that children as young as four years old had traveled as many as 1,200 miles, suffering horrific conditions on their journey to America.

“If the message is that America’s door is open to anybody and everyone who wants to come here, people are going to flood in,” Cornyn said. “In this case some of the most vulnerable that you can imagine.”

He also shared discussions he had with border patrol agents who were worried about 200 sex offenders mixing in with the population of 49,000 detained immigrants since last year.

Cornyn did not say whether or not the children should be deported.

“I think we need to make sure they’re OK now,” said Cornyn adding that they should be probably be “reunited with family members.”

I disagree with Corrie totally here, but if he really feels that way, he should tell DHS to stop flying the chirren off to Arizona. Leave them in Texas in Johnny’s care.

This bats**t crazy RINO just won the primaries in Texas, I think.
Are Texans experiencing buyers remorse yet?
Can senators in Texas be recalled?

He actually thinks he can whine and act like he's bulletproof, against the interests of citizens in the ENTIRE freaking nation!

Just to make himself feel good, and assuage the guilt built up by Hussein with his drumbeat of "It's the right thing to do!"

Since when is a psychopath's opinion effective against an educated, informed citizen with an IQ over 70?

I agree with him...we need to house them, feed them, find their parents, and them send them home. EVERY ONE.

Time again to Google Eisenhower plus wetback plus 1953...

I can just see you, upon finding a four year old on the street, dumping him in Mexico.

Welcome to FR, troll.
I won't even dignify your puerile sarcasm with a reply.

Jonathon Swift would have a good solution!

Now, now...
No need to go there...
No need to be nasty.

What did they think would happen to their kids, people in the US would just open their homes and take them in?

In a word, yes.

The Mexicans, Guatemalans, Salvadorians, Hondurans, Nicaraguans, Panamanians, Columbians, etc., are playing us with their own version of the infamous Baby Milk Factory" gambit.

And too many so-called Americans are clueless.

Interesting not one politician or media member is bringing up Mexico’s roll in this. Mexico is facilitating and supporting this pipeline. If one of these kids were staying in Mexico it would be shut down by the federales in minutes. Mexico is ruthless when it comes to illegal immigrants from central America.

Isn’t it the Republican position to support the family. These families have been broken up. We need to send them to their country and let their countries reunite them with their parents. It is a republican position. Otherwise lets take all of the children in Africa and southern Asia, Russia and make them our own. Cornyn, touched by the pathetic photographs wishes to make National Policy based upon emotion. That is the democrat way.

It would be shocking to find out their families are already here.

We send these countries billions of dollars in international aid…..to help these people. Tell the parents to ‘stop fornicating”. That is what causes children to be conceived and then born….then they need to be taken care of for 20 or so years.

Don’t allow them across the border and soon enough the flood will end. Wold will get back home fast. Force this wave of foreign invader children to stay in Mexico. Make it Mexico problem. Cruel but necessary.
The real profiteers are the drug cartels which are smuggling them in

Then set up a method to give them free plane tickets home.

********** With a traitorous gov’t in DC there is little chance of this happening. With Republicans being co-traitors when it comes to illegal immigration (with some exceptions)

Mr. Bunker or Mr. Hill7,
You should write a book.
Unlikely as it sounds, it would be a best-seller!

I'm serious.

And 90,000 of these criminals (yes they are kids but whoever sent them here are criminals) crossing our border illegally is supposed to garner sympathy from Americans? F that. I wish we had the border militarized and see if these people would feel lucky enough to cross then...

Can you imagine Obama mandating that families must adopt and raise these anchor babies as one of their own on their own DIME. Well that’s basically what he is doing if he allows even one of them to stay.

* Close and seal the Southern US Border, all 2,000 + miles of it.

* Cancel NAFTA.

* Abolish all Federal, State and Local Welfare payments to non-citizens of the USA.

* Block all money transfers to Mexico, or other any Country South of our Southern Border.

* Have lunch.

* After lunch, pass and sign Federal Penalty law to anyone who hires an Illegal Alien Invader, with a fine of $1,000 per day per alien.

* String Concertina Wire Holding-Pen Stockades at 100 mile intervals for the gotta-ways.

* Be as hostile to Mexicans as the Mexicans have been to the US Marine held and tortured in Prison by the Mexican Guards for the last two months.

* Hire Greyhound Bus Company to transport Illegal Alien Invaders to Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s Chain Link Desert Spa near Phoenix, Arizona.

* Have supper.

ANd that’s what gets me about some FReepers that even after 2012 seeing Rick Perry as a RINO would STILL vote for this guy. Ok, so he has a new look wearing thick framed glasses to “look intelligent” but he is still a RINO, despite Sean Hannity’s man-love for this guy.
