There was a time when crazy people were removed from society. I’m not advocating throwing a net over everyone that says or does something out of the “norms,” but the vast majority of individuals carrying out these acts have had lengthy, well documented histories of serious mental illness.
Stuff like this is a trivial price to pay for a free society. The price in human misery to go to a totalitarian regime as envisioned by 0 and his fellow democrats is far greater, AND will not reduce this sort of thing in the least.
