David Brat, the Virginia Republican who shocked House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R., Va.) Tuesday, wrote in 2011 that Hitler’s rise “could all happen again, quite easily.”
Mr. Brat’s remarks, in a 2011 issue of Interpretation: A Journal of Bible and Theology, came three years before he defeated the only Jewish Republican in Congress.

There was someone on the Cantor thread last night moaning about seeing a Jewish politician get defeated. Seemed like they were trolling for responses. Should have known the establishment would try drive things in this direction. Those DIABLOs are truly just Democrats In All But Label Only.
If their less than supportive smear campaign against Brat works, they will be saying see, TEA party types can’t win. Then the GOPe sympathizers will come out of the woodwork demanding that we support RINOs only if we want to “win.”
Then one thing you may not know is that Jews tend to be touchy about clubs they are not allowed to join.
Absurd non-sequitor. WSJ is, like most of the Big Business community that supported Cantor, supportive of very lenient amnesty.
I’m not sure how they think that will work. They want the ‘cheap labor’ of the illegals. Forget the related costs, because Big Business passes those on to the taxpayers. When they’re legal, how cheap will their labor be?
It’s already happening — with the rise of Islam.
I would suggest that David Brat could run intellectual circles around this Epstein who comes off as a dimwit.

Okay, I took a look at your posting history. Judging from that, and your sign-up date, I think it’s pretty clear what you’re up to.
You say that people in Virginia “don’t like Jews.” As a lifelong, born & raised Virginian, I can tell you that I don’t know any anti-Semites. But that’s because I don’t run in liberal circles. If you come across someone who is anti-Jew, you can rest assured they vote Democrat.
You’re here to see if you can get any anti-Semitic responses from Freepers, but you’re going to come up dry. So stifle the victim act.
I hope Brat will know what kind of forceful ignorance he is up against. You cannot be naive or do any ‘olive branching’ at this point. This is a war or cultures and social morals.
I heard he was ‘surprised’ this morning when a mainstream media reporter was less than positive about his big win. Don’t play the Innocent with these people, they will destroy your credibility and effectiveness. They are not your friends and never will be!
