Just got an email and video from my best friend who’s up there in Kennebunkport celebrating the birthday and 41 has successfully landed back on earth. Good for him!
Thanks for the update. I wonder how mad Barbara is? :) I know she was not in favor of this 5 years ago.
I watched it live on TV, and didn’t like the landing - he was in the front of the tandem, and his 90 year old legs touched down first, then dragged behind the duo for 10 or 12 feet until they stopped.
