The enemy in Riyadh and Islamabad remains untouched. Another Vietnam War in Mesopotamia will do nothing about that.

There is no doubt about that. Am I wrong or didn’t the Iraqi president Maliki (sp) ask us to leave? Seems I remember that. We would have either way. What a senseless waste of lives. This is Vietnam all over again. Abandon those we promised to help.

The capture of Baghdad was an extension of the freeing of Kuwait after a hiatus of 10 years or so.

Correct Jim. And now the second largest OPEC producing nation will fall to Al Qaeda. They will soon have billions and billions of oil revenue at their fingertips. Syria and Egypt will soon be completely under effective i’ll Qaeda control. Oil prices will skyrocket. Israel will be surrounded, with ZERO help from the US under Obama’s control. A massive, dangerous world war could be at the doorstep.

or Jim, he knows what he is doing. he planned from the beginning to destabilize the region, drive up oil prices here at home (he also is in the middle of closing down coal fired power plants), and make us a 3rd world nation like his beloved Indonesia or Kenya or whatever.
INVAR, in my opinion, you have come the closest to understanding what is really occurring.
You have linked the two forces Obama is committed to empowering.
He is a Muslim committed to using the resources of America to bring about a revived Caliphate in the Middle East.
He is also an agent of Communism, under the control of Putin.
We cannot even take something like that in, but everything he has done since 2009 has been to benefit Islam and Russia.
This is another reason why he will do nothing to contain Putin in the Ukraine, and he will do nothing in Iraq to stop ISIS.
We are witnessing a global shift in the balance of power in the Middle East in real time.
While America, watches prostrate, like Gulliver lying tied up on the beach by the Lilliputians.
