McCarthy runs unopposed. Conservatives on the Hill were cowards. Pathetic
The Conservative shave to unite behind one person.
Lots of favors and committee positions, as well as access to fund-raising to be passed out here.
A LOT of big money was behind Cantor, in anticipation if him taking the gavel. McCarthy must have gotten that support.
Sessions is no conservative. The conservatives had better try to beat Boehner and McCarthy. The vote for Majority leader NOW is to allow that phoney Boehner to use his influence to get an establishment RINO selected before a vote is taken next year on the Speaker’s slot.
What does it take for Boehner to begin Articles of Impeachment for the Democrats Obama?
Probably a kick in the butt. One would think Cantor’s stunning defeat was just that.
Personally I think that gutless coward will never impeach Obama.
He needs to be replaced next year with a real man.
Agreed. None of them are the leaders they pretend to be. Ball-less chumps more like it.
It takes two things that he will never have.
The current Republican Leadership is not conservative. Never was.
Having watched House of Cards and the devious machinations on all sides and even outside, I can’t begin to grasp the scope of the actions in progress
Was Sessions pushed out or bought? Bought of course and we may never know the price. Also, we may never know what as sold. Sessions likely ended up with more power than he had before.
Boehner fights conservatives, not Obama.
The fish rots from the head down.
Why is there no conservative trying to take Cantor’s place?
