Everything you say is true,jiggy, but don’t forget(for just one example) these are the people who re-classified the rather dusky George Zimmerman as a “white-hispanic” because they couldn’t get over the fact that he wasn’t some Jewish guy. It harshed their narrative.

So they’ll be quick to reclass the rather liberal Mr. Gates as an eeeeeeevil 1 percenter with his wife the religious maniac.

It’s true, if they didn’t have double standards they’d have none at all.

Let me tell another story (at the risk, yet again, of getting flamed as a Romney-bot).

I have just an awful communte lately (soflo I’m going to freepmail you about my new, awful job) and NYC drive time talk radio is dead. So I listen to Sirius and sometimes even to their POTUS (politics of the US) channel, which is pretty meh liberal, but the morning guy is kind of OK (even if he’s a bit boring).

But they have some dame on in the afternoon who is a cackling moron and sometimes, like today, I caught the very end of her show.

They were exulting over Michele Obama, talking about how she was going to make millions speaking and writing books. HUZZAH HUZZAH!

And I thought, you b*tches probably jumped all over Anne Romney for wearing a $700 blouse.

So there’s not truth, no integrity, no loyalty with the left. They are heirs to the blood merchants of the French Revolution and no better than that.

Your failure rates are dandy. Now stop to think that a 1% failure rate still means a whole lot of pregnancies in a large population? Also, your 1% number assumes perfectly compliant patients; which most people, especially kids, aren't. Pushing contraception on people also results in a lot more illicit sex, which results in a lot more contraceptive failures, which results in a lot more abortions.

Without contraceptive use, there is about an 85% pregnancy rate per year. With contraceptive use, there is less than a 1% pregnancy rate per year. That is a HUGE difference.

Do you seriously think that married couples are going to wait until they decide to have children before becoming intimate? And that, once they have all the children they want, they will stop intimate activity?

The fact is that the abortion industry survives because of the minority of women who choose not to use contraceptives at all. The women who use contraceptives deprive the abortion industry of profit. That's why abortion sales representatives do everything they can to discourage the use of contraceptives (even while putting on a facade of encouraging their use).
