I think Mc Daniel should run ads of this done in a tasteful way. Something along the lines of: "Thank you for all your years of service. It is time for Thad Cochran to retire and enjoy the rest of his life. And shame on all the back room politicians who are using this man for their own gain. Vote McDaniel, and let Thad Cochran have the retirement he deserves." Then show one of these clips.

Make it so people are doing the right thing for Thad by voting for Chris.

Just ask if he is unaware of a seismic shift in his party leadership, how aware is he of the needs of his state?

Yes. You understand the right approach. Turn the sympathy angle our way. (And, besides, it is the most honorable way for all concerned to actually address the reality.)

Mocking is neither fair to anyone afflicted with an age caused decline; and it certainly is not the way to motivate anyone else to work for the alternative candidate. While one can claim the mantle of realism, we should not forget that a sizable section of the electorate vote purely on emotion.
