My path might be successful.

Your path will absolutely not work.

That is the choice before us.

There is NO WAY that any “New Party” will ever have real life consequences in this country, other than to help the Democrats, if the 3rd Party is on the political Right.

We do not have a parliamentary system. In most States, the same candidate can not appear more than once on the ballot, or be nominated by more than one Party.

Your ideas warm the heart of Obama and Hillary and the Left. You will destroy our chances.

My path might be successful.

On the contrary, it has been failing for the past 25 years.

What you call "my path" has zero to do with me. You seem to mistake it for a proposal as to a solution.

It is a situation I see coming, a prediction, a forward-looking observation.

Understand, Kansas. Whether you or I or anyone else likes it or not, IF the Republican party nominates another left-centered presidential candidate as it did in 2012, that candidate will be rejected by a majority.

That's all I'm saying, really. I'm saying face up to it, get ready for it, start thinking of ways to make it WORK for us instead of trying to prevent it, because there's nothing you or I can do to change it.

I would remind you, too, of the crucial reality: Risk is the price you pay for opportunity.

Voting "Republican no matter who" because of a "bigger picture" goal takes zero risk in attempting to advance conservatism, and hence presents zero opportunity to do so.

THAT is the reality before us. We must choose accordingly.
