Exactly. As you probably know, there's a liberal campaign on now to eliminate the word "homosexual" from the lexicon, and instead use "gay". Because, these strategists surmise, the word "gay" doesn't invite imagery of what homosexuals do to each other.
Which is exactly why we must ALWAYS use the term 'homosexual' over 'gay'.
