I don’t know where you get that information but it’s not true. Many Kurds live right here in my home town of San Diego; I know many and speak with them on a regular basis through my work on the chamber. They blame America for every civilian death in Iraq, and they do so because they say more have died since we invaded than before.

Maybe you found some of the scumbag Kurds, but the ones in Iraq, I know for a fact, are Pro-American. That is the report I've heard from soldiers of ours over there, and it was the only region in Iraq where are men could walk around freely without any gear or fear of being shot or exploded on. The Kurds do not consider themselves as Iraqis, but as Kurds, with their own land and their own identity. They suffered the most from Saddam Hussain's regime, and I am quite positive that they will fight the hardest to maintain their liberties.

Disagreeing with you or those soldiers you say you have spoken with hardly qualifies them as "scumbags". Such a comment could be expected form a liberal who, when faced with an differing opinion resorts to name calling. You should be better than that.

I know these people well. They are reasonable people who now live in America and love it here, they just happen to have a differing opinion than you. Their opinions are based on the fact that they have family members who have died or have been directly affected by the conflict in their land. I cannot imagine why you would consider them “scumbags” because of that, but hey, we’re all different.
