I’m still not even sure what “cracker” means. I’ve heard several opinions, but nothing for sure. They’re just going to have to come up with a better insult.

“Cracker” is a term originally applied to poor white folks in Florida.

I'm not motivated by the term Cracker either. I find it humorous.
I've tried to think up a racial term that would offend my brand but I'm stumped.

I don’t think anyone knows for sure but the version I have heard since I was a child in the 50s, is that it originated with early North Florida residents who used bull whips to make their ox or horse wagons move.

I think it is interesting that there still are Florida Cowboys on large ranches who use whips instead of ropes.

The term was also apparently common in Georgia as the old Atlanta minor league baseball team was known as the “Georgia Crackers.”
