“The Texas governor can call up the National Guard in the event of an emergency. It’s done all the time during hurricanes. If this isn’t an emergency I don’t know what is.”

I agree, however, what is the Guard going to do? Seriously. It wouldn’t be possible to literally grab each one of them and throw them back. You can’t shoot them. Imagine how that would play out. Seriously, it is a real conundrum for the conservatives and the states.
Throwing Bamby out on his ear and making immediate changes to the policy would be the only place to start. And, that would take time to develop.
I would like to read some logical ideas on what people really think would work in the near, and long, term.

Congress can, I believe, override an Executive Order (which is what DACA is).

However, that would take both the House and the Senate, so no action could take place until next January. And I wonder if the Republicans have the gumption to consider repeal the "Dreamer" Executive Order.

The Congress can also defund the program. But what would they defund? The refugee shelters? Food and clothing for the children? I don't think so.

Time to pray for a strong Republican leader to emerge...

First of all the guard could seal the border. That would be a good start at telling Obama to go eff himself.
