Apparently two years of Lois Lerner’s emails have been lost, according to the IRS. The disappearance of the emails caused House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp to blast: “The fact that I am just learning about this, over a year into the investigation, is completely unacceptable and now calls into question the credibility of the IRS’s response to Congressional inquiries. There needs to be an immediate investigation and forensic audit by Department of Justice as well as the Inspector General.”
Camp’s June 13 statement went on to elaborate why those missing emails are so crucial to the investigation:
“Just a short time ago, Commissioner Koskinen promised to produce all Lerner documents. It appears now that was an empty promise. Frankly, these are the critical years of the targeting of conservative groups that could explain who knew what when, and what, if any, coordination there was between agencies. Instead, because of this loss of documents, we are conveniently left to believe that Lois Lerner acted alone.

But FOX lies, and the other networks tell the truth, but, the government is telling us that they lost the emails, so it must be true, only if FOX says its true and the government says its true, but the other networks ignore it, than it must not be important. Yet, one would think that losing evidence in an investigation is important. So the other network, therefore must merely be more WISER than FOX is. There are things, I guess, that we don’t really NEED to know about. It is so comforting for them to sort it all out for us so that we don’t have to do any real thinking.
When I was working in industry, IT would back up the servers daily. We were never a day away from resurrecting any data. I find it hard to believe that the Government, which wrote most of the standards for the computer industry, would not follow the same practice. Also, every message received and sent by Lerner were sent and received by someone else. Simply subpoena any e-mail from anyone in Government from or to Lerner. And finally, having some expertise in this, I find it almost impossible to believe that even data that has been erased and scrubbed cannot be restored by the application of some of the FBI’s software tools.

Yes, that is what I thought. If an employee’s computer crashes, there is always ways to retrieve the data.
What a bunch of liars.
These emails must incriminate the President. Otherwise why would they risk the lie: “Sorry. We lost them”?
But if you lose that receipt from 5 years ago.....

If I’m not mistaken, special prosecutors are appointed by the Attorney General. Good luck with that.

Didn't Lerner use a non-govt. email for her sneaky doings?
Perhaps her gmail or whatever account wasn't archived by the IT dept.?
