Finally a story where the freeloaders were repulsed:
Maryland’s lawmakers, in particular Sens. Barbara A. Mikulski and Ben Cardin, had objected to the proposal publicly. Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake also raised concerns.
“The site they had intended is not being considered at this time,” said Caron Brace, a spokeswoman for the mayor. “However, the urgent need remains.”
A spokesman for the Administration for Children and Families at the Department of Health and Human Services, which has led the effort to set up shelters for the children, declined to comment. But sources familiar with the decision said the agency is not currently considering Metro West or any other site in Maryland.

OMW! Had not heard about the proposed use of Aberdeen. That makes sense because it is located near a more conservative area of Maryland, so the flood of illegals will overwhelm the local population and turn it into the type of place the progressives want, a Third World hell hole, where English is not spoken, where there is no rule of law, and where the institutions of Western civilization are forgotten concepts.
I don’t really know how these things work, but, I suspect that, since APG is an army base, the local politicians have no say in the housing of Obama’s army of cultural destruction at the facility.
