The only restrictions are you cannot CC in govt. buildings, bars or where liquor/beer is sold, Pizza Hut, Shopping Malls with posted “No Guns” etc. Otherwise, I can carry anywhere I want (except the boroughs).
Some counties will take longer to get a permit, but it took Mrs. panax & I six weeks after applying and completing a 4 hour safety class to receive the permits in the mail. If I remember correctly it cost us $110 each & another $10 for fingerprints/photo/paperwork.
Upstate NY is very different than downstate in nearly every way. So many good folks confuse NYS with NYC. I have to admit that we thought the same thing 25 years ago when we moved here. We soon found out we were wrong.
Just want to clarify that I’m talking about upstate NY, not NYC.
When al Qaeda blows up New York again I won’t have the reaction I had on 9/11/01. Then, I mourned the attack on America. That America is gone. I consider New York to be a different country than the one I live in—the one they called “Jesusland”. New York was warned, and bloodied, and they and the rest of Prog-Land responded with appeasement, and the election of Broncobama. They will really get it bad next time, and “Jesusland” won’t lift a finger to help the Bloomberg paradise. At least I won’t.

I no longer care what happens to people that bring these thing on themselves. All I can do is try to convince people to leave liberals to their hellholes and come to conservative states. Then we can have a united front against liberalism and it’s Muslim henchmen.

Isn’t it something that Obama’s buds think that New York is the prime target instead of DC. I am with you on your point. The attack in 2001 was heartbreaking. I watched it all but I also watched the democrat party media immediately start attacking George Bush and even mocking him on the same day. We will see what happens next.
