That dam that was spoken about, up above, does indeed dam the waters that flow into Baghdad (but so do five additional dams).

Facts are indeed stubborn things ... :-) ...

I’m surprised you haven’t heard about Jesus returning and setting up his rule and reign here on earth for the Millennial Kingdom.

When he returns all those who oppose him in setting up his kingdom on this earth are killed (that’s what it means when they are sent into outer darkness - Jesus dispatches all of them straight to Hell). No one enters his kingdom on this earth “not” believing in him and accepting him as Savior and King on this earth.

That’s “Basic Christianity 101” ... :-) ...

1 After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting: “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,

2 for true and just are his judgments. He has condemned the great prostitute who corrupted the earth by her adulteries. He has avenged on her the blood of his servants.”

3 And again they shouted: “Hallelujah! The smoke from her goes up for ever and ever.”

4 The twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God, who was seated on the throne. And they cried: “Amen, Hallelujah!”

5 Then a voice came from the throne, saying: “Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, both small and great!”

6 Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns.

7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.

8 Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.”

9 Then the angel said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!’ “ And he added, “These are the true words of God.”

10 At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

11 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war.

12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself.

13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.

14 The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean.

15 Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty.

16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God,

18 so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and mighty men, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, small and great.”

19 Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army.

20 But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.

21 The rest of them were killed with the sword that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.

Revelation 19

The birds are going to be eating a lot of DEAD MUSLIMS, along with a whole host of others who oppose him.

The real question here is ... “Whose God is really in comtrol, the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob - or - the God of Ishmael and Mohammed.

Ishmael is Abraham's son. They both worship the God of Abraham. Mohammed led the Ishmaelite's astray.

That was Nebuchadnezzar who ate grass, but I agree that Cyrus of Persia was used by Jehovah to punish the Babylonians, just as Nebuchadnezzar was used to punish the Assyrians, both nations guilty of attacking God’s people (and many other things).

Nineveh, capital of Assyrian (remember Jonah?) was built where modern-day Mosul,Iraq stands.

Funny thing about history repeating itself, huh?

I am very familiar with the teaching in Revelation..... But that was not what you posted.....

Jesus Depopulating Muslims is not in the Bible.....

He will judge ALL.... Regardless of their religion.....

The Muslims believe that the Euphrates will dry up and expose a mountain of gold, but the believers must not touch it. Mountain might be interpreted as a kingdom. Could it be Turkey’s plan to overrun Syria and Iraq? It was Pan Turkism once rule the Ottoman Empire and the Turks are very proud of that.

I’m not saying I believe any of that, but if it’s what they believe it’s more likely than another random outcome.

It would have to be a bigger operation than just that one dam. They would have to clear out five more dams downstream, making six dams in total ... before any water would ever get to Baghdad.

Not necessarily. If the top dam is full to the brim and is made to catastrophically fail, the resulting rogue wave of millions of gallons of water traveling down stream, could cause the downstream dams to similarly fail (especially if they were sabatogued to be susceptible to such a mass impact of water hitting them. A domino effect of destruction through Syria and Iraq.

Wouldn't be the first time that ME terrorists tried to recreate fictional destruction in reality.

The Assyrians have the distinction of being the only people to repent when God sent a (reluctant) prophet to warn them. The head honcho of Nineveh led his people in prayer and fasting, and God withheld the punishment. IIRC. (people on this thread keep beating me over the head with facts and truth)

Jesus DEPOPULATES the entire Middle East of ALL MUSLIMS by killing them - in battle directly or sending them STRAIGHT TO HELL.

Here’s the part where he sends them STRAIGHT TO HELL ...

31”When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory.

32All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

33He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

34”Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.

35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,

36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37”Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?

38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?

39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40”The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’

41”Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

42For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink,

43I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

44”They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’

45”He will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

46”Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

Matthew 25:31-46

Those MUSLIMS who are not killed in battle, when Jesus finishes with the WAR upon his return and establishes his initial control over all the nations of the world — he DISPATCHES STRAIGHT TO HELL the rest of them, at the “Judgement of the Nations”. Those are the “goats” here. The “sheep” are allowed to stay (alive) here on this earth and in his Kingdom as he rules and reigns over all the nations of the world from Jerusalem.

Small rumble.

American Sargent: NOTHING HAPPENED! All this and nothing happened!

British Sargent: Well, you can't expect a bloody volcano from one little satchel of explosives. Give it time, it will work.

Big rumble.

That wave and amount of water is dissipated over a lot of land that it will spread out on ... before it ever reaches Baghdad. They don’t have levees to constrain the water over that entire length of flow before it gets to Baghdad.

I should add, in light of your statement ... that Jesus will kill ALL ATHEISTS, but then again ... we weren’t talking about atheists here.

And, Jesus will kill ALL BUDDHISTS, but once again, we weren’t talking Buddhists here.

You should be aware of the fact, too ... that Jesus will kill ALL HINDUS ... but wouldn’t you know it ... we weren’t talking Hindus.

SO ... once again I will note (and in context of this thread) ... that Jesus will KILL ALL MUSLIMS and totally DEPOPULATE the Middle East of that SCOURGE of humanity.

You should also note this ...

1 Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain?

2 The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the LORD and against his Anointed One.

3 “Let us break their chains,” they say, “and throw off their fetters.”

4 The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them.

5 Then he rebukes them in his anger and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,

6 “I have installed my King on Zion, my holy hill.”

7 I will proclaim the decree of the LORD: He said to me, “You are my Son; today I have become your Father.

8 Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.

9 You will rule them with an iron scepter; you will dash them to pieces like pottery.”

10 Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth.

11 Serve the LORD with fear and rejoice with trembling.

12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry and you be destroyed in your way, for his wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

Psalm 2

LOL...you don’t need to waste your time posting scripture....I have been studying the Word for more than 35 years....

What makes you so sure there will even be Muslims when Jesus returns ???

You are projecting your bias into scripture....

No one really knows when and what the end times will be like....

The first province in Iraq the river flows through is the one controlled by Kurds. Turkey could have very easily done this to constrain the Kurds, who are resurgent after driving out ISIS in several cities. Just to make sure the Kurds don’t top beating the local version of the Taliban by re-uniting with brethren in Turkey.
