I hear an Iraq expert explaain that the terrorists had carefully avoided the Kurdish areas of Mosul. Also that Malaki has been quite vicious to his enemies and Sunnis. Today the chief Shiite cleric in Iraq (Sistani?) urged young men to fight these takeovers. They also captured the Turkish consulate in Mosul and may still be holding the Ambassador’s family. How mad will the Turks get???

I don’t know the Turkey Government nor their assets in the region. If they need the Kurds to unite resources between Iraq and Turkey then it would seem they have a green light.
