Don’t leave me hanging, bro. Your comment ended too abruptly.

Build the America you want at your address and keep looking up. I would just add that your address does matter, and partisan politics most decidedly does not.
I also wanted to comment a bit more on the article that you provided. Which I thought was very good. I think that he is essentially correct that this is more of an internal place than external as well. I would hasten to note again that address does matter. I would argue that its a heck of a lot easier to live the good life in an area that would be conducive to it than it is in a place that is hostile.
For example, it is a heck of a lot easier to live a righteous life in a low cost, low regulation, low governance area such as WY or NH or even TN than it is in a place such as NYC. Not just because NYC is a den of depravity, but because the sheer amount of time you have to spend to pay to live there to pay excessive taxes and comply with local edicts.
Let’s say for example you wanted to start a cutting edge communal living arrangement with likeminded religious people. In NYC you would be severely challenged to simply get the zoning approved let alone afford to do so. In NH or WY you would simply look for the appropriate property. Same thing if you wanted to work with kids. Good luck in NYC unless you can comply with the sheaf of edicts which are not only offensive but difficult and expensive to comply with.
