-——Since when is the story of the loser better than that of the winner? ——

When the loser is the established order.

The existing plans going forward must be revised to accommodate the reality and possibility that conservatives must have a stronger say in House actions.

That is, chickens counted before hatching must be considered as uncountable

Laura Ingrahm scoring yet another knockout punch on the RAT apologist, showing him exhaling with cheeks puffed out..damn glad they were going to commercial.

Her tirade involved how if Cantor had won, that ABC would have been claiming “the argument on amnesty is over” and “the TEAparty is dead”

Jane Harmon mentioning that Mike Rogers is retiring from Congress, Wallace asked her why she retired...gast..nervous laugh...”because I got a better offer”.

Harmon: the business model in Washington is broken and the American people lose — because of Cantor's loss and fighting across the aisles.

==

There are so many things broken in Washington:

business model
immigration
social security
medicare
IRS
NSA

etc.

Pols like to invoke “broken” when describing dysfunctional governmental elements.

Who broke it? It wasn't the American people! It was Congress and presidential Administrations and bloated governmental bureaucracies!

if he don’t pay his child support she’s going to turn him in.

Well, siccing the DHS Nazis on him, and shining the lights on him will certainly raise his exposure, and probably his anger.

The national tea party groups did absolutely nothing to help Brat. There was some local tea party support, but to call Brat the tea party candidate is a misnomer.

Exactly Bergdahl is all about putting in place Taliban leadership at exactly the same time zero removes US troops. That way it's a lot easier for the Taliban to make headway into Afghanistan from bases in Pakistan with leadership already in place and a years rest up to get ready.

Actually, the regime has done the same thing in both Iraq and Afghanistan.

They first remove the troops make sure their is weak leadership which makes it easy for terror wannabes to take over.

The idea will be to assert that Bush should never have gone into either place to begin with. Few will see that zero has been the cause of all these failures.

From Libya to Syria to Afghanistan to Iraq all were purposely mishandled to help terrorism flourish. It backfired in Egypt but its not over yet.

Heh.

Well I just don’t know about this.

I remember going to visit my father in jail because he didn’t pay child support. Now my father was a cheapskate and he ended up taking custody of all three of us as he figured got pay rent anyway, kids cheap to feed. It wasn’t a very good experience to see your father in jail.

Further, I thought they called that debtor’s prison.

Not that I blame my daughter but I’m going to talk her down from this.

Guys, it’s sad really, but this son-in-law-NOT ON ANY SUNDAY TALK SHOW-is such a loser. Obviously I am helping what with buying them a house and goodness they were sharing my jeep until SIL told me to shove it up my ass. Then I also turned off his cell phone, that I pay for.

When they moved down here, myself, and my daughter as well, wanted nothing more then for them to succeed and be happy. Here they have a wonderful house that they don’t pay a dime for. Daughter gets a monthly disa. pmt, not much but all SIL needed to do was mow a few lawns for cigarettes...they get food stamps and all medical paid by you guys and me.

Nobody wanted this but you do what you gotta do.

Now we got Candy Crowley replacement asking if Cantor’s religion contributed to his defeat.

Always, always they must try to find a victim. Cantor lost because his constituents didn’t want him.

Just like we kicked out Mike Castle here in Delaware.

Sheesh.

Well the TEA partiers are not real organized parties with a strong identifiable center of power. Their activism is more dilute and widespread, harder for the lazy RATagandists to detect.

His campaign platform certainly screamed TEAparty.

Fish, Our petitions may have stopped Light Rail in Portland. The planners of the boondoggle had a meeting this week to approve another $10 million environmental impact study which was the final approval of Light Rail through our section and green light $2-5 Billion in pork.

Unexpectedly the meeting turned to admitting they could not defeat our petitions or go around them and finally admitting they didn’t have the money. They tabled the decision until Nov to see how the elections go and likely have tabled it permanently.

We are the national model for transportation and are about to put the final nail in its coffin. The establishment is mortified.

Pray America wakes up

I worked with the Brat campaign on the immigration issue. My organization funded and I wrote the text of a robocall to 28,000 Cantor constituents. Here is the text:

Did you know that your congressman, Eric Cantor, supports amnesty rather than the Rule of Law? Don’t be fooled by his rhetoric or election time flip-flops. Any legislation that allows the lawbreakers, including children, to stay and work here is amnesty.

Cantor favors massive increases in permanent immigration and guest worker programs that will cost the jobs of Americans and depress their wages even further. He even wants to enable illegal aliens to join the US military and compete with US citizens and legal immigrants during a period of downsizing in the military. With over 20 million Americans underemployed or unemployed, this is a travesty no matter how he spins it. We don’t have a shortage of labor; we have a shortage of jobs.

Cantor does the bidding of his corporate paymasters rather than doing what is right for his constituents and our country. Cantor is no conservative. Shock the Republican Leadership on June 10th and let Cantor know there are consequences for his impending betrayal. Protect American jobs for American workers.

None of the major tea party groups gave a dime to Brat. They have contributed to other candidates around the country. They refused despite requests from the Brat campaign for support.

Cantor has been widely known in his district for being aloof and arrogant. He was one of the few Rep politicians who did not attend the VA Tea Party convention in Richmond several years ago. He was widely disparaged at the convention for being a chicken.

FYI: Over a year ago I had a one on one hour long briefing of Cantor on the immigration issue. He is doing the exact opposite of what I recommended. It is satisfying indeed to see him defeated, largely on this issue.

The GOP should use the Brat template on immigration. He went after the Chamber of Commerce and the corporate class and sided with the American worker. Brat wants to cut down the influx of foreign workers, legal and illegal, because it takes jobs away from Americans and depresses wages.

ISIS is the most viscous of them all. Even branches of al queda don't like ISIS. Too radical for even al queda.

They have been around in one form or another since almost 2,000.their leader Abu Bakr al Baghdadi is described as a mystery man having perhaps several id's,like a bad movie.

They were almost destroyed completely but like herpes keep coming back. Today their numbers were estimated at 6-10k before they started taking over Iraq. No telling how big they are now.

Seems they are left overs from the Saddamm Hussiens Bathist party and have all kinds of war(terrorist style) experience both in Syria and in Iraq. With the 429 million they just stole in Mosul they can conceivably hire tens of thousands of fighters(when that runs out they get money from the Saudis and Qatar and probably Kuwait as well) to join their side. Evidently $600 per month hires a fighter in an area where Iraqi soldiers where street clothes under their uniforms just in case they need to make a quick wardrobe change and get the hell out of dodge.

If ISIS finds Sunnis that are not deemed sufficiently religious enough they could be killed in a heartbeat. They killed thousands in Tikrit alone. No telling how many were Sunni. This is a viscous group that uses car bombs intimidation, you name it sort a far more religious Haqqni on steroids.

Yeah the regime has undone anything and everything Bush accomplished. Whether you thought we should have gone in there or not Bush left Iraq in good shape.

In Iraq it would have taken a permanent force of 30k a lot like Korea and al Maliki including the Sunni in Iraqi government. Neither happened so we got ISIS. All very predictable.

The GOP should use the Brat template

The GOP, especially the conservatives, need to weed out and reduce their slate to a candidate or two early on. Having half-a-dozen going into any election only waters down their message(s). That is part of what happened in SC with Graham winning the primary in a landslide.

Keep at it Bray, keep at it.

Bray, I got a real neat something I found out.

I got a snoop (I got snoops all over the place, damn I’m good at it) who sent me an email and asked if I wanted him to forward it to me daily.

What it is, and I never knew such a thing existed...the county, and state I must suppose, pays a guy and all he does is gather links to the local media, newspapers, web sites, radio talk show bytes....on all local and state issues.

So my friend (one of my men friends....there are many, THESE guys will tell you anything, insert wink here)...forwarded this email to me and guess what I found?

MY BLOG POSTS....zillions of them!

Heh. I have a special way of titling my blog posts”Delaware politics read ‘em and weep....the 0/00/00 edition.” There were a slew of these; made me consider re-doing this Blog thing.

As I understand it, every employee and elected official of all counties (there’s only 3 of them in Delaware, don’t get too excited) and state get a copy of this email, gathered by a paid state employee.

What a hoot!

So I am told, and I have no proof of this but I am told by someone who would know, that Governor Markell reads my column every day. Not that this fact is a source of pride, Markell being a low-IQ liberal.

Still.....

I am reaching THOUSANDS of people every day and never even knew it. Although there were clues. My editor keeps calling me and asking if I need anything, am I okay?

When I request an interview they jump at the bit to work with me. I am very nervous about FreeRepublic. I know of one Freeper who joins sometimes on this thread but I trust him.

I say a lot of things on this thread I’m not sure I’d want those many gubmint employees reading. Some day, some way, I think they’re going to fight back against me.

If your group doesn’t have a Blog, get one.

Adding to the bemusement, daughter’s PFA comes up right as a local guy I supported is on trial for rape and a local elected guy too has a PFA.

Melissa says to me...”What is John Atkins’ wife name? Is it Heather?”

Heh. Which it is. Long story about this guy but daughter knows it. Said she and Heather were in same room yesterday than it’s a media firestorm as Eric Bodenweiser (”Mom, you got his bumper sticker on the Jeep!”) and his wife come trotting up.

Sometimes I think God has a plan for me and arranges these things perfectly.

But I dream.

;)

Seem to me to be long on fund-raising and self-promotion and real short on the real work at hand...like finding and/or supporting truly conservative candidates.

Guess I still judge people by their deeds more than their words....

Jeff Session's article, Becoming the Party of Work--How the GOP can help struggling Americans, and itself, should be required reading for any GOP candidate.

The GOP must move away from the corporate class and to the American worker. Both parties have abandoned the American worker. Dave Brat used this template and won.

Also enjoyable to learn no boots on the ground policy as we send in advisers to Jordan and elsewhere. They must be wearing moccasins or ballet shoes or something. Not boots.

Agreed. I think we need to declare everyone in the world US citizens. Then the US government will collect taxes from each and everyone of the newly deemed US citizen. This of course happens after a flat tax is imposed and everyone pays a flat 15%. We will then put Obama in charge of the Revenue Collection Drone Agency because he so good at killing people with his favorite unilateral weapon of choice to enforce this new Global US Citizen Law. (I am joking of course.)
