I’m developing a real sense of suspicion regarding these “national tea party” groups.
Seem to me to be long on fund-raising and self-promotion and real short on the real work at hand...like finding and/or supporting truly conservative candidates.
Guess I still judge people by their deeds more than their words....
Couldn’t agree more. And there is no consensus among the Tea Party groups on immigration. There is a strong libertarian strain that wants open borders and the free flow of labor.
I agree with you Kabar, I do not necessarily trust these alleged Tea groups either. The gal with 3 names and the long hair when pressed for not supporting Dave Brat claimed she had been in Virginia 4 times, had spoken to Brat, supported him but they had given all of their donuts to the Mississipi race against Braindead Thad.
I found her response to be somewhat lame.
