It doesn’t matter how much you pay corrupt politicians in Mexico. They will never do the right thing, or what is good for Mexico, much less the United States.

I’ll say that there is a case for paying the Mexican police to do this. First, they are cheaper, second they are likely to be more effective (during the cold war, who do you think are better border guards, the east germans or the west germans ?), and third the mexican people will tend to hate their border guards instead of the American Gringos taking away their meal ticket to America.
I suspect deObamaization might be a more effective course of action

We already give Mexico money, yearly. They are wealthy! All that oil and they won’t spend 1 cent to help their own citizens.
Illegals send 1.3 billion dollars (estimate might be low) to relatives in Mexico each and every year. That is money drained out of the US economy!
Do the math. How can they send that much if there are only 11/12 million here?
According to the last California Census, there were almost 11 million illegals in that state alone! That was years ago. It must be well over 12 million by now.
On top of all that, we house them, educate their kids, give free healthcare, EBT cards, welfare and all other social services.
In return we get their refusal to assimilate, their contempt for our citizens, tax fraud, crime, loss of culture, loss of jobs, plummeting wages, high education costs, bankrupt hospitals and drug dealers. This costs us taxpayers billions per year!
