Mexico has no incentive to secure its borders no matter how much money you threw at them.

They send their criminals, uneducated, unskilled, and needy to us. The USA taxpayers are their welfare program.

How about stopping all personal money transfers to Mexico...
It’s 18 % of their GDP...

That will get their attention...

I like that.

Wrong.

The correct answer is to stop rewarding every illegal who comes across the border. No anchor baby citizenship, no welfare or other freebies, and crack down on those who hire illegals. Another measure would be to stop forcing minimum wage hikes, so it wouldn’t be so expensive to hire legally.

It seems to me there are three Mexico’s.

Mexico, the coastal tourist zones and the cartel controlled states.

If there is to be change, the cartel’s must first be eradicated. That means the deaths of 10’s of thousands tainted with cartel crime.

The cry will be that wheat is being destroyed with the chaff. That will be true, but necessary collateral damage.

"You pay the Danegeld, you never get rid of the Dane."

Seriously, a much better plan would be to fully fund our own border protection and STOP TELLING THE WORLD WE WILL ACCEPT ANY ONE WHO SHOWS UP INCLUDING CHILDREN.

****************

How about we use that money here at home and secure the USA borders. If we are
going to tax US taxpayer dollars then lets spend it here in the USA.

“I’ll say that there is a case for paying the Mexican police to do this. First, they are cheaper, second they are likely to be more effective (during the cold war, who do you think are better border guards, the east germans or the west germans ?), and third the mexican people will tend to hate their border guards instead of the American Gringos taking away their meal ticket to America.”

AGREE. The idea that their kids may end up in MEXICAN PRISONS is probably the most effective way to communicate to the parents of these kids to stop this crap.

“Mexico gets $22 billion a year in remittances. Why would they want to secure the border.”

Because 75% of these kids are NOT Mexicans, they’re Central Americans. Mexico doesn’t get a dime of it.

Bribing Mexico's police to do what our president won't is cheaper than the alternative.

As sick as it sounds, it's far more effective. Pay each Mexican Cop $10 per head for arrested and detained person attempting to cross their border illegally. Bonuses for exceeding a quota too.

Mexico gets 22M (+ all of the Western Union $$ sent back from illegals). What do you mean by “Mexico doesn’t get a dime of it”?

Fund Mexico?

Scr*w that. Tell them to close their borders and stop their invasion of the United States now or it will mean WAR!

Is there any good reason why the US Army can't be sent to the border to stop this ongoing invasion of our country and states?

IF Mexico can arrest our Marine Sgt. they can stop their people from breaking out law.

We should boycott Mexican goods until our Soldier comes home
