Somewhere along the line, Hume DID take a sorry turn. For a while he was the best, now he’s just sad.
A few days ago, Hume was even defending immigration reform, saying it was not amnesty and none of the bills Congress has attempt to pass had amnesty in them.
He tried to claim a purist definition of amnesty, just like McCain, Graham, Boehner, Ryan, and a multitude of others have so many times previously.
They think they can hoodwink the American public by claiming that ‘regularization’ or whatever term-of-the-day they apply isn’t really amnesty.
A pox on all of them!
Yes, I once had a pretty high opinion of his knowledge and his punditry.
