Levels of gun violence remain unacceptably high in this country, and judging from the daily toll of gun murders to the extraordinary acts of mass violence such as the one that occurred in Isla Vista just days ago, women are too often the targets of gun violence. Every day, five women are murdered with guns in the United States, a large percentage of whom are killed by their intimate partners.

I know exactly what they should do if they really want to reduce the level of gun violence against women by intimate partners. Start offering firearms and marksmanship training to women. Make it more possible for them to own firearms (which would include getting rid of all those stupid hoplophobic laws against “Saturday Night Special” handguns which are otherwise cheap and easy to acquire). Then make it easy for them to carry said handguns on their persons at all times. Oh, and I’d also recommend that those women take their best range target, laminate it, and display it above their bed. I’m pretty sure most domestic abusers/rapists would be less inclined to hurt their partner if they knew she had a pistol on her person and that she was a good shot!
I would never click on and give a “hit” to anything called americanprogress.org. That would be supporting the enemy camp.
LOL! What’s the problem? John f’n kohn-heinz-kerry is getting ready to team up with the iranians to see what we can do to screw up in iraq. I know. It’s a mixed up muddled up screwed up world. :>} I only posted it in case someone wants to go and obtain some of their top secret tactics. They keep using that phrase in a constant drumbeat so that whenever anybody hears the word “violence” they immediately associate it with “gun”. Try it out on your friends and neighbors to see how effect this Pavlovian ploy is working.
