It appeals to a woman’s wiring to have sex in the context of a committed, married relationship,
but being pressured to do otherwise by the leftist perversion of culture.
The two conflicting pressures lead to internal confusion and conflict, leading to having sex then wanting an “out” to justify doing it outside of marriage.
I think most people know in their hearts it’s morally wrong to have sex outside of marriage, and so yeah, going ahead and doing it does often lead to internal confusion, conflict, fear of catching a disease or getting pregnant, and abortion. If people really thought the hookup culture was the right thing to do, why do so many of them need to get high or drunk to loosen up?
It’s not like we Christians are trying to prevent people from having “fun”. People are free to do whatever they want. I don’t know of any Christians breaking into bedrooms to punish people. No. It’s not that, it’s that God has shown us the better way to live, and by following His advice, we generally live healthier and happier lives.
