Which one do you think our commander in chief prefers? Obama gave a speech to an audience of college graduates at University of California, Irvine in which he expounded on his advanced views of climate change:

He's so, so, so, uh, presidential when he gets snarky. Well, maybe not. Sarcasm can be used in certain circumstances. Other times, not so much. What an idiot. Someone responded the other day that more than a few declined to attend the ceremonies to avoid being in his presence. If you can believe that. Anecdotal info only.

A commenter wrote, and this is from memory, “He's a pyromaniac in a field of straw men.” I thought that was so dead on.

I faintly recall in the mists of ancient history, the leader of a great republic lecturing us about the need for civility. Let's see, who was that?
Could it be...? Nah, it was someone else; must have been.

Ah, I should have looked first. You beat me to it. I think it’s a great turn of phrase.

Ah yes, the old “he’s the smartest guy in the room and we’re all just not bright enough to understand him” BS.
Who are they trying to convince of that, us or themselves?

I heard someplace that he declined joining MENSA because he views them as a bunch of dimwits. That’s how SMART he is. Or not. Petulant whiney bullying punk is more like it.

The point of that is to affirm to those who hold such a view that they themselves are “smart” because they support and agree with the “smartest guy in the room”.
There’s really nothing more to it than liberals’ well deserved inferiority complex.

Theres going to be a stubborn status quo and people determined to stymie your efforts to bring about change. "Reactionaries!"
Obama's trying so hard to stir up his Red Guard.
Translation: "All peoples of the world unite to overthrow the imperialists and the reactionaries of all nations!
