We’ve taken our jabs at the Senator from South Carolina over the years. When it comes to certain domestic agenda items, he can be quite the squish at times. But on foreign policy, he’s always been smack on. And he seems to be turning into a rather knowledgeable senior statesman on foreign affairs.

(BAGHDAD) — In a sign of Iran’s deepening involvement in the Iraqi crisis, the commander of Tehran’s elite Quds Force is helping Iraq’s military and Shiite militias gear up to fight the Sunni insurgents who have advanced across the country, officials said Monday.
Iranian Gen. Ghasem Soleimani has been consulting in Iraq on how to roll back the al-Qaida-breakaway group, known as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, according to Iraqi security officials.
In its latest success, the group Monday seized the strategic city of Tal Afar near the Syrian border, part of its goal of linking areas under its control on both sides of the Iraq-Syria frontier. West of Baghdad, an army helicopter was shot down during clashes near the city of Fallujah, killing the aircraft’s two-man crew, security officials said.

A helicopter belonging to the Iraq army has been shot down near Fallujah, during fighting between government forces and militants from ISIS - the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant. The news broke just hours after the Iraqi military released footage of airstrikes against ISIS positions north of Baghdad and boasted it had “regained the initiative” against the militants.
There are also reports the terrorists have seized the key city of Tal Afar, which sits on the main road between Mosul and the Syrian border. Unlike most of the other cities seized in recent days Tal Afar has a substantial Shia population

Jihadis we supported used our missile to shoot down our helicopter driven by the other side which we also supported. America is pretty much punching itself in the face as of late.
When ISIS uses these Benghazi anti-aircraft missiles to shoot down American and European airliners guess who is going to lose their freedoms and their bank accounts?
