Unfortunately, most Americans know nothing about the Constitution other than what they saw on "Schoolhouse Rock" when they were kids. To them, the Constitution is as relevant as plywood. What we in the center-right need to figure our -- and damned quick -- is how to deprogram Generation X and Generation.com, and make so the important stuff
is relevant to them. That answer lies in creating our own pop culture.

This has been going on longer than “GenerationX” (I truly despise terms like that ...).
I can’t recall that question EVER being raised in public debate over some proposed law or policy, and my personal recollection of such things goes back at least to the early 1970s.
