The Department of Veteran Affairs is drawing online criticism for tweeting about the worlds oceans on Monday.
The VA tweeted about how the worlds oceans are under threat from over-fishing, pollution and even climate change.
Veterans Affairs @DeptVetAffairs
Our ocean is under threat. Join people all over the world and make a difference. #OurOcean2014 http://thndr.it/1tP7rrQ

The tweet linked to a press release from the State Department that let people tweet out their own support for a number of ocean-related issues, such as avoiding shark-fin soup and only consuming seafood caught in a sustainable manner.
But the tweet was ridiculed online by people who said the VA should be focused on veterans, particularly given the controversy about people not being able to get into VA hospitals for treatment.
They get care from the VA? one person replied.
I see this weeks episode of “Through the wormhole” is about the oceans. I like the show but it irritates the hell out of me that they play along with this agenda.
All is well in America /s
“We need an ocean of money to give care this crappy”.
Insanity from an insane government in an falling country filled with insane people.
Stop and think for a minute about how many criminals there must be in the federal government for someone to try and distract the public with this kind of nonsense.
Why is it news that a “tweet” results in a bunch of responses ridiculing it? That’s par for the course.
Gee, I would have thought that they had their hands full. Guess I was mistaken.
As Jesse Jackson would say:
Stop surfin’ the net and care for the vet!
Franc’s Jacques Cousteau stated as fact in 1969 by 1988 the Oceans will be molasses like and the Atlantic you will be able to walk from NYC to France. This was also referred again at the 1st Earth day in Philly where Environmentalist declared Global Cooling!
